A shocking incident involving superstition has come to light in Etawah. A young man, claiming that "Mahakal is demanding a sacrifice," stabbed himself in the neck with an axe. Hearing the screams, his family rushed him to the hospital, but he died before reaching the hospital. Let us explain the full story.

Santosh, a resident of Mohalla Gandhi Nagar, under the Bakewar police station area, explained that his nephew, 28-year-old Rajesh Tiwari, was his parents' only child. After their death, Rajesh lived with them. Two years ago, he married Rani from Jharkhand. Rani left for her parents' home just a month after their wedding and has not returned since.

After the death of his parents and his wife's abandonment, Rajesh's mental balance deteriorated. He became increasingly troubled. He smoked cannabis and drank alcohol, leading to his wife's departure. During his unusual behavior, he would shout "Mahakal Mahakal," repeatedly saying, "Mahakal is demanding a sacrifice," and then he killed himself with an axe. He wanted to go to his mother's house. He also argued daily about vacating the house and other domestic matters. Uncle Santosh said he stabbed himself in the neck several times with an axe.

He was lying in a pool of blood. When his daughter came downstairs to sweep the stairs, she saw Rajesh lying in a pool of blood. He was rushed to the hospital, but he died on the way. Police say the axe has been recovered. The young man had been mentally disturbed for some time. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
