Due to the water on the main road, people are facing difficulty in commuting to the villages.
The administration has closed the main road from Purana Shala to Mukerian Jalandhar. Police personnel have been deployed here so that no one can go straight ahead with a vehicle and the administration is appealing to the people not to come from Gurdaspur to Mukerian Purana Shala so that people's lives can be saved. can 12 to 15 villages of Gurdaspur district have been affected where water has reached above four to five feet. SDM and officers of Gurdaspur are helping each other. 5 feet of water has reached 15 villages including Jagatpur Tanda Daupur, Nadhala Bhaini Paswal.
