New Delhi: Gyavyapi Case: Varanasi District Court has given a big decision in the Gyavyapi case. The court has given permission to the Vyas family to perform puja in the basement of the complex. Hindu side's lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain said that permission has been given to perform puja in the basement of Vyas ji. Now puja will be done in the basement under Kashi Vishwanath Trust.
According to the information, puja was held here before 1993,
the Hindu side had sought permission to perform puja in the basement of Vyas ji itself, which was accepted by the court. Somnath Vyas's family used to worship in this basement till 1993. In 1993, following the orders of the then state government, worship in the basement was stopped. However, the Vyas family has been seeking permission to perform puja here again for a long time.
Arrangements for worship will be made in 7 days.
On January 17, the district administration of Varanasi had taken possession of Vyas ji's basement. The basement was also cleaned during the ASI survey. Hindu side's lawyer Madan Mohan Yadav said that District Judge Ajay Krishna Vishwesh has given Vyas ji's grandson Shailendra Pathak the right to perform puja in the basement. Arrangements will be made by the administration to conduct the puja within 7 days. Kashi Vishwanath Trust will do the work of conducting the puja.
The Muslim side will appeal in the High Court.
The Muslim side has expressed displeasure after the decision of the Varanasi District Court. The Muslim side has said that they will appeal against the decision of the district court in the High Court. It is noteworthy that the Muslim side had also rejected the ASI survey.
