Himachal: Eight People Killed, Five Injured As Bus Falls Off Hill In Sirmaur

Himachal: Eight people were killed and five injured when a private bus fell off a road into a ditch in Himachal Pradesh's Sirmaur district on Friday, police said. Videos circulating on social media showed a large number of people helping in the rescue operation, trying to pull the injured out of the bus wreckage.The accident occurred in the Haripurdhar area when the bus, coming from Solan, fell 100 to 200 feet below the road. Police said the bus fell upside down. Locals rushed to the scene and informed the police. Himachal:

Industry Minister and Shallai Assembly constituency MLA Harsh Vardhan Chauhan said the district administration has been alerted, and medical teams and doctors are on standby for emergencies at Dadhu, Sangrah, and Nahan hospitals. The MLA said the cause of the accident is not yet known. He expressed grief over the tragedy .
