Horrific road accident on Gujarat Highway, tragic death of two people including a 7-year-old girl

A 7-year-old girl and a 24-year-old woman died in a collision between a CNG rickshaw and a bike on the Nadiad-Kapadvanj Highway in Kheda district. Three people were seriously injured in the accident and have been admitted to a private hospital. A team of doctors is treating the injured. Police have launched an investigation.

A 7-year-old girl and a 24-year-old woman died on the spot and three others were seriously injured in a tragic road accident on the Nadiad-Kapadvanj Highway in Kheda district, Gujarat, on Friday. The accident occurred near Vadthal Raijipura Patia in Mahudha taluka, where a CNG rickshaw and a motorcycle collided head-on.

According to reports, a family from the Kapadvanj area was returning home on a motorcycle. Their bike collided with an oncoming CNG rickshaw near Vadthal Raijipura Patia. The impact was so severe that the 7-year-old girl and 24-year-old woman riding the motorcycle died on the spot. Chaos ensued at the scene. 

Three other people on the CNG rickshaw and the bike were seriously injured in the accident. Locals responded promptly and immediately rushed the injured to the nearest hospital. They have been admitted to a private hospital in Kathlal, where their condition is reported to be critical. A team of doctors is treating the injured.Upon receiving information about the accident, Mahudha police arrived at the scene and began rescue and relief operations. The police have taken the bodies of the deceased into custody and sent them to the Mahudha Community Health Center for post-mortem examination. An investigation into the cause of the accident has also been launched.

Police cleared the damaged CNG rickshaw and motorcycle from the road and restored traffic. Traffic on the highway was briefly disrupted, but normality returned after police action. Initial investigations suggest speeding and a head-on collision are likely causes of the accident.

This tragic incident has cast a pall of grief over the area. Locals have demanded that the administration increase safety measures on the highway and crack down on speeding vehicles to prevent such accidents in the future. Police have registered a case and initiated further legal action.
