Opposition leader bent on making Atiq a hero, former DGP said - first see the law and order

Ex DGP of UP AK Jain hit back at the opposition leaders and said that everything is going well in UP, all the operations are being done properly here.


Former DGP AK Jain Reply on Opposition: Former Uttar Pradesh DGP AK Jain has advised the opposition leaders of other states to kill Atiq Ahmed. The former DGP said that the opposition leader was hell-bent on making Atiq Ahmed a hero. Giving advice to such opposition leaders, he has said that first they should see the law and order situation in their states. He said that he would also find out that such an incident could have been prevented in some way.


Hitting back at the opposition leaders, the former DGP said that everything is going well in Uttar Pradesh, all operations are being done properly here. He further said that there is a good atmosphere of communal harmony in UP. Everything is fine in UP, actions are going on. Had there been a normal situation in Uttar Pradesh, riots could have taken place in Prayagraj as well, but due to the excellent law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, peace prevailed in the entire state.


2 SIT constituted for Atiq-Ashraf murder case


Earlier, a three-member judicial inquiry commission was constituted to investigate the Atiq-Ashraf murder case, but now two SITs have been constituted in this matter. The first of these SITs has been constituted by UP DGP RK Vishwakarma. ADG Bhanushankar of Prayagraj zone will lead this team. Prayagraj Police Commissioner and Director of FSL will also participate in this.


On the other hand, the Prayagraj Police has formed this team, which will be headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Crime Satish Chandra. SP Satendra Tiwari and Crime Branch Inspector Om Prakash Singh have also been included in this second team of SIT.


All three accused of Atiq-Ashraf murder shifted to Pratapgarh Jail

The accused arrested by the UP police in connection with the murder of Atiq-Ashraf were sent to judicial custody for 14 days on April 16 by the court. Soon after the court's verdict, he was sent to Naini Jail in Prayagraj. However, now these three accused shooters have been shifted from Naini Jail to Pratapgarh Jail.
