There will be a long power cut in Punjab on Saturday! These areas will be affected

Jalandhar (Web Desk) - Many areas of Punjab are going to experience a long power cut tomorrow i.e. on Saturday. The Punjab Electricity Department will keep the power off in many places due to necessary repairs, about which advance information has been given in the cities and the time has also been fixed.   Sri Muktsar Sahib (Pawan Taneja, Khurana)- Eng. Baljit Singh Assistant Executive Engineer City S/D Sri Muktsar Sahib has informed that on April 4 from 9 am to 4 pm, 132 KV S/S Sri Muktsar Sahib to 11 KV Bus Bar-2 will be shut down due to necessary repairs. During this shut down, the supply of 11 KV Sangudhaun A. P., 11 KV Town, 11 KV Thandevala U. P. S., 11 KV Railway Road, 11 KV Gurdev Vihar, 11 KV D. K. S. Enclave, 11 KV Park Disposal and 11 KV New Kotkapura Road feeders running from 132 KV S/S Sri Muktsar Sahib will be affected. Nurpurbedi (Sanjeev Bhandari)- Giving information through a statement issued with reference to SDO Punjab State Powercom Limited Sub-Operational Division Office Singhpur (Nurpurbedi), JE of the department Rohit Kumar said that under the permit obtained for the necessary repair of power lines and felling of trees, the electricity supply of the villages of 11 KV Barwa feeder will be kept off from 10 am to 4 pm on April 4. During this, the electricity supply of villages like Musapur, Kumbhewal, Lucknow, Saskor, Roli, Jhinjri, Kheri, Chehiramjara, Barwa, Lalpur, Mirpur, Sekhpur, Chanauli, Bassi and Shahpur Bela etc. falling under the said feeder will remain affected. The time of electricity outage may be less or more due to the ongoing work. Due to which the consumers should make alternative arrangements for electricity as per their requirement. Kotkapura (Narinder) – According to the information received from Engineer Iqbal Singh S. D. O. Sub Urban Sub Division P. S. P. C. L. Kotkapura, the power supply of 11 KV Dana Mandi Feeder Urban, 11 KV Kotkapura Urban, 11 KV Nangal A. P. and 11 KV Army Azad running from 220 Sub Station Sandhwa will remain closed from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm on April 04 due to necessary repairs, due to which the power supply of Sikh Wala Road, Faridkot Road, Hira Singh Nagar, Pratap Singh Nagar, Nanak Nagri and Jindal Cement Factory etc. areas will be affected.
