40 lakh looted, more than 400 CCTVs, Delhi Police arrested 5 in 72 hours

Delhi: The victim told that when he protested against the robbery, he was beaten with sticks and the miscreants snatched a bag containing money.


Delhi Crime News: Delhi Police's Outer District Police solved the 40 lakh robbery case within 72 hours. In this case, the police have arrested 5 miscreants. 39 lakh cash has been recovered from these people. Along with this, Creta vehicle, scooty and bike have also been recovered.


The police have also recovered the toy pistol used in the incident. To solve the case, the police searched more than 400 CCTV cameras and after that, arrested 5 miscreants from Delhi and Haryana.


what was the matter


On June 19, police station Rani Bagh received information through a PCR call that an injured person had been admitted to the hospital. After which the police team immediately reached the hospital. Where the statement of the injured person was recorded. In which he told that he works as a collection boy in the company M/s Paras Enterprises, Sector-3 Rohini.


He told that on the day of the incident, he along with another accomplice named Vishal was returning to his office after collecting the company's cash from Karol Bagh area on a scooty. When they reached in front of Apeejay School, four boys on a two-wheeler stopped them and threatened them with a toy pistol.


The victim said that when he protested against the robbery, they beat him with sticks and the miscreants snatched a bag full of money. There were 40 lakh rupees in it, they looted it and ran away. After which the police registered a case under section 392/394/34 of the IPC and started investigating the matter.


400 CCTV cameras were reconstructed


Police scanned more than 400 CCTV cameras to solve the case. At last the police traced the number plate of the bike. After tracing the location, the police arrested the five accused from Delhi and Haryana. The names of all are Chirag Jain, Savinder Sawan alias Bhola, Sandeep and Monu. All the accused are residents of Sonipat, Jind Azar, Delhi.
