Israel has recently intervened in the clashes between local security forces and the Druze community in Suwayda in southern Syria . Israel 's Defense Minister has said that the IDF will protect the Druze community in Syria . This is the third consecutive day that Israel has attacked Syria. According to the Israeli Defense Minister, these attacks were carried out after the ceasefire between the Druze community and the Syrian security forces broke down.
