The incident took place on Monday in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. According to the report of Xinhua news agency, eyewitnesses told that the explosion occurred near the Chinese guest house. Eyewitnesses said that after the explosion, shots were fired and the building caught fire and smoke started coming out of the guesthouse.


Afghan officials did not comment.

The Chinese Embassy in Afghanistan said it was closely monitoring the situation and taking relevant actions. Afghan officials have not yet commented on the incident.


Several rounds of firing at the guest house

According to media reports, several rounds of firing took place at the guest house. Many Chinese officials come to this guest house. There is no information about the attackers yet. At the same time, in a media report in this regard, it has been said that the Emergency NGO has spoken about the death of 21 people. However, there is no official information about the casualties yet.


It is being told that three attackers involved in the attack have been killed. The guests were removed from the guest house.


Taliban government spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said on Twitter that no foreign nationals were killed in the attack. Two foreign nationals jumped from the building, they have been rescued.
