Bathinda Police Constable Case: The lawyer has said that today we have granted bail to woman constable Amandeep Kaur from room 19 of Bathinda Court Complex. He said that till now the police has not even presented the challan of woman constable Amandeep Kaur, even this recovery which was not heavy.

Giving information, Vishwadeep Singh, lawyer of woman constable Amandeep Kaur, said that after the arguments held in the Bathinda court this morning, the court has finally granted bail to the woman constable. He said that Amandeep Kaur has got bail less than a month and one day.

What was the whole matter?
It is worth mentioning that Amandeep Kaur was detained by the police on April 2 near the bridge on Badal Road with 17.71 grams of heroin. According to DSP Harbans Singh, the police were checking vehicles by setting up a checkpoint on the Bathinda-Badal road. During this, when the Thar was stopped and checked, heroin was recovered from it.
The police were later granted two days' remand, but after this, during the hearing, the court agreed with the arguments of the defense lawyer and sent the dismissed woman constable Amandeep Kaur on judicial remand till April 22.
