New Delhi: Amid the ongoing US-Russia tensions, oil market experts said that Brent crude oil prices are expected to rise to $80 per barrel in the coming months as tensions between the US and Russia could lead to major changes in the global oil supply chain. Oil prices could rise due to rising geopolitical risks.
According to experts, Brent oil (October 25) will reach $72.07 to $76 in a short time and by the end of the year 2025 it may reach $80-82. US President Donald Trump has given Russia a deadline of 10-12 days to end the war with Ukraine and has threatened additional sanctions and 100 percent secondary tariffs on countries trading with Russia if it fails to do so, which will increase oil prices.
US President Trump's move could send oil prices soaring further, as countries dependent on Russian crude face a difficult choice between buying cheaper oil and facing heavy export tariffs from the US. Experts say such changes could disrupt the global oil market and could push oil prices higher by 2026 as oil supplies dwindle.
