Bomb threat sent to AIADMK chief's home in Tamil Nadu turns out hoax after search

Tamil Nadu police launched a bomb squad operation at AIADMK chief Edappadi K Palaniswami's residence after an email threat. They deployed sniffer dogs and experts, only to confirm it was a false alarm.

A bomb threat email sent to the residence of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leader Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) triggered panic on Thursday. The threat, received via email, claimed that an explosive device had been planted at his residence.

Upon receiving the alert, police personnel rushed to the location and began a thorough search operation. Bomb detection squads and sniffer dog units were deployed at the premises to examine the property and surrounding areas for any suspicious objects.

The security teams conducted a detailed sweep of the premises, but no explosives were found. Officials later confirmed that the bomb threat was a hoax. While the incident caused a brief period of concern, authorities have assured that all necessary precautionary measures were followed.
