Dehradun Cloudburst: Situation worsens after cloudburst, resort and hotel suffer heavy losses, watch video

Cloudburst has caused massive destruction in Dehradun district. More than one and a half dozen shops were washed away after deadly torrential rains in Karligarh village . Apart from this, three to four resorts and hotels were also badly affected. Two people are missing in this natural disaster , while the NDRF and local administration engaged in relief work have shifted more than a hundred people to safer places.

The Bailey Bridge , which was built over the Badal river, is now completely washed away, and three other bridges have also collapsed. The picture tells the story of devastation, which is an alarm bell in the area. While on one hand relief work is going on, on the other hand the question arises whether the structures in these areas were built properly?

Dehradun city is also in trouble due to heavy rains. Vehicles are badly stuck in the IT park , and horrific pictures of damage due to rain are coming out. Sahastradhara tourist spot has also suffered heavy damage. The situation has worsened due to cloudburst here , which has further increased the difficulties of the administration. NDRF , PWD are involved in relief and rescue work and other local agencies are engaged in relief and rescue work.
