Farmers Protest: Farmers rejected the government's proposal, said - no burden will be borne by 23 crops, gave this ultimatum

Delhi Chalo Protest: Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said that the central government should implement MSP on 23 crops across the country. He said that this proposal is not in the interest of the farmers, we cancel it.



Farmers Protest: The fourth meeting of the organizations involved in the farmers' movement with the central government ministers has also been inconclusive. Farmer organizations have rejected the central government's proposal by holding a press conference at the Shambhu border of Haryana.


The next day of talks with the central government, i.e. on Monday (February 19), farmer organizations said that we discussed the government's proposal in the meeting. If we look carefully at the proposal made by the government, there is nothing visible in it.

'MSP will not put any burden on the government'


It was said on behalf of the farmer organizations that the law on MSP is not putting any kind of burden on the government. The organizations involved in the farmers' movement have rejected the proposal of the central government. He said that we do not accept the government's proposal.


'MSP should be implemented on 23 crops'


Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said that the central government should implement MSP on 23 crops of the entire country. He said that this proposal is not in the interest of the farmers, we cancel it. He said that there is a flaw in the intentions of the government. We want guarantee on MSP.


'The government is not serious on the issue of farmers'


Pandher said that when we go to the meeting, the government ministers come after 3 hours. This shows how serious the Indian government is regarding the issue of farmers. He said that on February 21 at 11 am, farmers will try to march to Delhi peacefully.


Internet ban extended in Haryana till February 20


Farmers are continuously protesting on the border of Haryana. So far, three farmers and one GRP inspector have died in the farmers' movement. Internet has been shut down in seven districts each of Punjab and Haryana. Internet ban in Haryana has been extended till 20th February.
