Chandan Verma, the accused in the Dalit teacher family murder case in Amethi, regrets his actions. He has denied having a love affair with Poonam in front of the cameras of the media persons. Chandan Verma, who was injured in the encounter, was brought to the hospital by the police for an X-ray.
Chandan Verma, the accused of murdering a Dalit teacher's family in Amethi, did not love Poonam, he admitted this when asked by media persons. The murderer is expressing regret for his crime. On killing two innocent children, he says that he made a mistake. Police brought the accused Chandan to the hospital for X-ray. He has been taken to Raebareli District Court.
Chandan was injured in a police encounter on Friday night. He was shot in his right leg. While recovering the weapon used in the murder of the teacher's family, Chandan snatched the pistol from the inspector and fired at him. The police fired at Chandan in self-defense, which hit his leg. Chandan Verma had shot dead government teacher Sunil Kumar, his wife Poonam and two innocent daughters on October 3.
Chandan said- I had no relation with Poonam

When he was asked why he killed the innocent children, he said, 'He made a mistake'. On being asked about his relationship with Poonam, Chandan said, 'I had no love for her'. He told the media cameras that he had no relationship with Poonam. He said that he regrets the incident. The police got the accused's X-ray done and left for Raebareli court.
Was arrested from Noida Jewar toll
Chandan Verma was arrested by the police from Jewar toll in Noida on Friday. He was trying to escape to Delhi. Chandan had killed the entire family of Dalit government teacher Sunil Kumar, who lived in a rented house near Ahorwa Bhavani intersection in Shiv Ratan Ganj police station area of Amethi district. Chandan shot Sunil, Poonam and two innocent daughters dead by firing 10 rounds. The accused fled after committing the murder.
Police investigation revealed that Chandan had illicit relations with the deceased Poonam, which Poonam's husband Sunil came to know about. Under pressure from her husband, Poonam filed a police complaint against Chandan. Chandan took revenge by killing Sunil's entire family.
