IPS officer Krishna Prakash Update: IPS officer Krishna Prakash has completed the journey from Gateway of India to Elephanta Caves by swimming. He has become the first person in the world to do so.


PS officer Krishna Prakash Prasad, popularly known as Iron Man title, has done another feat. He has crossed the journey from Gateway of India to Elephanta Caves by swimming. He has become the first person in the world to do so. Means 'Iron Man' has swam from Chhatrapati Shivaji Marg in South Mumbai to Elephanta Island located in Mumbai Harbour. IPS officer Krishna Prakash himself has given this information through his Twitter handle.


Achievement told through twitter


The IPS officer told on his Twitter how he has completed the journey from Elephanta Caves to Gateway of India in five hours and 26 minutes. This journey was about 16.20 kilometers, which he completed by swimming. The biggest thing is that he has done this work by swimming in the opposite direction of the waves.



Let us inform that this swimming has been done as part of the “Drowning Prevention Awareness” campaign. Now this post is becoming increasingly viral on Twitter. 10 lakh people have seen it till Monday night. And thousands of people have retweeted it. Along with this, it has got more than 6 thousand likes.


Known as Iron Man


However, he has participated in many saree competitions before also. Not only this, many records are also in his name. In 2017, he completed the Ironman Triathlon, one of the most challenging sporting events in the world. It is a three-day event in which participants have to complete 3.8 km swim, 180.2 km cycle ride and 42.2 km run in 16-17 hours. This achievement won the title of "Iron Man" to IPS Krishna Prakash. Apart from this, his name was also recorded in the World Book of Records.


Had passed civil service in 1998


Let us tell that the education of IPS Krishna Prakash has been completed from Hazaribagh in Jharkhand. He passed the UPSC Civil Services Examination in the year 1998. He got Maharashtra cadre.
