Nationwide Operation Nets 10 Arrests Linked To Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldy Brar Gang

Two individuals were apprehended from each of Delhi, UP, and Punjab, while one person was apprehended from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Bihar, bringing the total to ten arrests. The accused individuals have been identified as Jaspreet Singh, Dharmendra, Manjeet, Gurpal Singh, Manjeet Singh Guri, Abhay Soni, Sachin Kumar, Santosh, and Santosh Kumar.

Delhi Police’s Special Cell conducted a pan-India crackdown on the criminal module of alleged terrorist Satinderjeet Singh aka Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi, resulting in the arrest of nine gang members and the apprehension of a juvenile, police announced on Wednesday.

The official reported that the operation covered seven states – Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. The arrests made during this operation helped prevent contract killings and other serious crimes in Delhi and other states.

The official mentioned that certain arrested individuals, who had connections through social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and other encrypted chat platforms, had previously engaged in criminal activities under the direction of Brar and Bishnoi.

Police arrested these individuals from Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldy Brar Gang

Police apprehended two individuals each from Delhi, UP, and Punjab, and one person each from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Bihar. Authorities have identified the accused individuals as Jaspreet Singh aka Rahul, Dharmendra aka Kartik, Manjeet, Gurpal Singh, Manjeet Singh Guri, Abhay Soni, Sachin Kumar, Santosh aka Sultan Baba, and Santosh Kumar.

Police received reliable information indicating that an interstate module, acting under the direction of notorious gangsters Bishnoi (currently in jail) and Brar (based abroad), was highly active in committing offenses such as extortion, killings, and other serious crimes in Delhi, NCR, and neighboring states.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Special Cell, Prateeksha Godara stated that while monitoring the activities of this syndicate, they noticed incriminating conversations among its members located in different states through technical surveillance. These conversations exposed their conspiracy to carry out a killing or other serious crime, a plot further confirmed by intelligence from reliable sources.

“To prevent the malicious intentions of these members, the Special Cell registered a case on April 24 under relevant provisions of the IPC. Multiple teams were formed and promptly sent to various locations in all the states where these members were situated,” stated the DCP.

Authorities also confiscated seven pistols along with 31 live cartridges from their possession.
