New OPD Timings: The order to change timings in Chandigarh will be applicable to dispensaries under Government Multi-Specialty Hospital, Sector 16, Civil Hospital Sector 22, Civil Hospital Manimajra and Civil Hospital Sector 45.

OPD Timings: From today, the timings of OPD (New OPD Timings in Punjab) have changed in government hospitals and dispensaries of Punjab and Chandigarh. Due to this, the counters will open one hour late, while the registration counters will open half an hour earlier. The administration says that these instructions have been issued keeping in mind the winter. However, emergency services will continue to function regularly for 24 hours as before. These orders will be in force from October 16 to April 15.
All health institutions in Punjab will now remain open from 9 am to 3 pm, while emergency services will remain open 24 hours. These institutions include all district hospitals, sub-divisional hospitals, primary health centres, community health centres, Aam Aadmi clinics, ESI hospitals and dispensaries.
Registration counters will open half an hour earlier.
The registration counters will open half an hour before the scheduled opening time of the hospital, to ensure that patients do not face any problem in getting their prescriptions. Patients can get their check-ups and treatments on time with ease. The Civil Surgeon's Office will function as usual from 9 am to 5 pm. There has been no change in these hours.
New OPD Timings in Chandigarh: The order to change timings in Chandigarh will be applicable to dispensaries under Government Multi-Specialty Hospital, Sector 16, Civil Hospital Sector 22, Civil Hospital Manimajra and Civil Hospital Sector 45. Currently, OPD timings in these hospitals and dispensaries are from 8 am to 2 pm. The Chandigarh Administration says that no change has been made in the timings of ESI dispensaries in Sector 29 and Sector 23, UT Secretariat and High Court Dispensary.
The change in time in Chandigarh and Punjab will affect government-run hospitals, dispensaries, etc. Patients with serious conditions can use emergency services.
