News of work: Now every essential item will be available at government ration shops in UP

Now you can buy jaggery, ghee, namkeen, packed dry fruits, packed sweets, milk powder, children's clothes (hosiery), rajma, soyabean, cream, incense sticks, comb, mirror, broom, mop, lock from reasonable price shops in Uttar Pradesh. Now 35 items of everyday use like milk, bread, spices, cosmetics, umbrellas and torches will be available at fair price shops in UP. The Yogi government has issued its notification on Wednesday, under which every essential item will be available at the government ration shop.

Jaggery, Ghee, Namkeen, Packed Dry Fruits, Packed Sweets, Milk Powder, Children's Clothes (Hosiery), Rajma, Soybean, Cream, Dhupbatti, Comb, Sheesha, Broom, Mop, Lock, with goods from fair price shops. Raincoat will be sold. Along with this, wall hangers, detergent powder, dish washing bar, electronic items, wall clock, matchbox, nylon and jute rope, plastic pipe (water) and plastic bucket, mug and strainer will also be sold.

All things will be available in one shop

Along with this, handwash, bathroom cleaner and baby care products like diapers, baby soap, massage oil, wipes and body lotion will also be available, so that the common man will now be able to get the benefit of all these things along with ration at a single shop. Initially, the intention of the government is to increase the income of ration shops. Along with this, new model shops will be built in the coming time, in which along with ration, everyday items and other work will also be done.

52 Annapurna fair price shops are being built

For this, Annapurna model shops will be constructed on the land of the Gram Sabha near the village secretariat, so that the common man will be able to get daily essentials and other services at one place at the nearest place. As a pilot project, 52 Annapurna fair price shops are under construction in Bareilly division and soon it will be implemented in all the districts. Recently, a presentation was made in front of CM Yogi regarding the upgradation of ration shops by the Food and Logistics Department, after which it has been implemented.

On the instructions of CM Yogi, food grains should be distributed to the ration card holders in the Annapurna model shops on the scheduled dates. For this, electronic forks and e-pos machine will be used. Due to the availability of many facilities at one place according to the needs of the people of the village, the time of the people will be saved and the income, caste, birth, residence certificate, Aadhaar, pension and other services will be available in the Annapurna fair price shop and public convenience center. Facility will be available. Along with this, goods of daily need are to be made available to the general public through the general store here, and officers are ordered to visit the gram panchayats regularly one day a week to take stock of these facilities.

The department has prepared to run Annapurna fair price shops and public convenience centers in an integrated and uniform manner in the entire state. Arrangements will also be made for facilities like e-stamp sale, micro ATM etc.
