India Strikes: During the operation, care was taken to target only the terrorists. On the night of 6 May, attacks were carried out on 9 terrorist hideouts inside Pakistan and POJK, where about 900 terrorists were present.

Pakistan has been deeply shaken by the revenge taken by India for the gruesome killing of 26 innocent Indians in the Pahalgam terror attack. Pakistan has been a safe haven for terrorists for a long time and these terrorists plot against India, but this time India has avenged all the attacks. Under this operation, 9 terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) were destroyed by firing 24 missiles.

In the briefing, the Indian Army gave information about the camps present in Pakistan and PoK, how they were targeted and how they were plotting against India. Colonel Sofia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh told in the briefing that in the first phase, intelligence input was collected about the activities going on inside Pakistan and then after identifying the terrorist hideouts, a plan was prepared and Operation Sindoor was launched on the night of 6 May.

Colonel Sofia Qureshi said that Sawainala Camp and Saidna Bilal Camp were attacked in Muzaffarabad, PoK. Sawainala was a training center of Lashkar-e-Taiba, where the terrorists of Sonamarg, Gulmarg attack in 2024 and this year's Pahalgam attack took training. Saidna Bilal Camp is the staging area of Jaish-e-Mohammed, which was also a center for weapons, explosives and jungle survival training.

Kotli's Gulpur camp in PoK was also destroyed, which was the base of Lashkar-e-Taiba. This camp used to control terrorist activities in Rajouri and Poonch of Jammu and Kashmir. Colonel Sofia Qureshi said that the terrorists who attacked Poonch on April 20, 2023 and the pilgrim bus on April 9, 2024 had received training from here.

Colonel Sofia Qureshi said that Barnala Camp Bhimber has also been destroyed, which was a training center for weapons handling, IED and jungle survival. At the same time, Lashkar's fidayeen were trained at Kotli's Abbas Camp and its capacity was to train 15 terrorists.

The Indian Army has destroyed four terrorist hideouts inside Pakistan, including Sarjal Camp in Sialkot and Mehmoona Zoya, Markaz Taiba in Muridke and Markaz Subhanallah in Bahawalpur. Colonel Sofia Qureshi said that the terrorists involved in the killing of four soldiers of Jammu and Kashmir in March 2025 were trained in Sarjal Camp.

He said that Mehmoona Joya Sialkot was a very big camp of Hizbul Mujahideen, which was the center of spreading terror in the Kathua area of Jammu. The attack on Pathankot airbase was planned and directed from this camp.

The army has completely destroyed the camp where the Mumbai attack was planned. This is the Markaz Taiba terrorist camp in Muridke. Colonel Sofia Qureshi said that Ajmal Kasab and David Headley were trained here.

Jaish-e-Mohammed's headquarters Markaz Subhanallah camp has also been destroyed. It was the centre of recruitment and training and top terrorists used to come here.
