Pahalgam Terrorist Attack: Terrorists have once again committed a cowardly act in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorists have targeted innocent tourists, in which many tourists have been injured. After this terrorist attack, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has left for Srinagar.

Pahalgam Terrorist Attack: There was chaos at around 2:30 pm on Monday afternoon in Baisaran of Pahalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir, when suddenly indiscriminate firing started on the tourists. According to the information, the tourists were enjoying horse riding, when the terrorists attacked.
According to the information received so far, one tourist has died in this attack, while 12 people have been injured. The condition of four of them is said to be critical.
Amit Shah called an emergency meeting
As soon as the information about the attack was received, the central government immediately swung into action. Union Home Minister Amit Shah called an emergency meeting regarding this serious attack, in which the Home Secretary, IB chief and other senior officials participated. The DGP of Jammu and Kashmir also joined this meeting virtually. The situation was reviewed in the meeting and the security forces were instructed to remain on alert mode.
Amit Shah leaves for Kashmir after talks with PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took this incident seriously and spoke to Home Minister Amit Shah over the phone. PM Modi instructed Shah to take strict action and keep an eye on the situation. After the PM's instructions, Amit Shah immediately left for Kashmir. He will take stock of the situation there on the spot and review the security arrangements.
