Patwari Arrest In MP: Shahpura tehsil's patwari Amit Dubey was arrested on charges of taking bribe in Jabalpur. The patwari had demanded a bribe of 30 thousand rupees in exchange for measuring the land. Lokayukta caught his partner Saurav Agarwal red handed while taking 20 thousand rupees. After this the patwari was also arrested.

30 thousand were demanded in exchange for measuring the land

Patwari Amit Dubey had demanded a bribe of 30 thousand rupees in exchange for demarcation of agricultural land, map division and measurement with ETC machine. Complainant Arjun Sahu complained to Lokayukta. Saurabh Agarwal had come to take the bribe money on the instructions of Patwari Amit Dubey. The team of Lokayukta Jabalpur arrested him red handed while taking 20 thousand rupees.

The complainant had already given 10 thousand rupees

Patwari Amit Dubey had demanded 30 thousand rupees for demarcation of agricultural land. Complainant Arjun Sahu had already paid 10 thousand rupees. He had gone to Saurabh Agarwal to pay the remaining 20 thousand rupees. Saurabh Agarwal has a photocopy shop behind Shahpura tehsil. The Lokayukta team trapped the accused here.
