India recently promoted BrahMos at the World Defense Show organized by Saudi Arabia. There is speculation that BrahMos is being offered to Saudi Arabia. This defense show ended on 8 February.

Some Russian media reports quoted an official of the BrahMos Aerospace joint venture as saying that talks are being held with Saudi Arabia for a possible sale of the cruise missile. According to the report, Praveen Pathak, export director of BrahMos Aerospace, said, 'We are expecting many high-level meetings. We look forward to promoting our joint product in the region (Gulf). There has been interest from Saudi Arabia and we have already met Saudi delegations at other exhibitions. We are hopeful about the talks.
