Bharat24, National Desk : An anonymous letter from eight women constables of Mumbai Police has created a stir. The police is secretly investigating this three-page letter. Through this letter, three senior officers of Mumbai Police have been accused of rape, sexual exploitation, blackmail and mental harassment. However, the women police constables in whose name these letters were written, have declared them to be fake during interrogation.
The eight women police constables say that they have not written this letter. The letter was sent to senior police officers through speed post. The letter mentions the names of eight women police drivers and claims that three senior officers raped them, made a video of the act and are blackmailing them.
Seniors demand Rs 1000 every month
The letter also alleged that she was paying Rs 1,000 every month to three seniors as they were threatening to transfer her. The letter also alleged that the complainant was once raped in an officer's cabin.
Asked to confiscate officers' mobiles
In the letter, higher officials have been asked to seize the mobile phones of the three senior officers and investigate against them. A senior IPS officer, on condition of anonymity, said that the two women drivers mentioned in the letter are on leave, while the other six women came to him with tears in their eyes.
The search for the letter writer continues
Last month, women police drivers were transferred to police stations. He said that he has not written this letter. We are conducting a confidential investigation to find out who wrote the letter.
