BSF Jawan Captured: Pak Rangers handed over BSF jawan who accidentally crossed the border to India a


New Delhi. A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan who was caught by Pak Rangers on Wednesday after crossing the international border and going towards Pakistan by mistake in the Punjab sector was sent back to India after more than 30 hours. Officials gave this information. A spokesperson said, “The BSF constable had unknowingly entered Pakistani territory at the zero-line checking-in at Border Out Post Area Mauzam Base in Abohar Sector.


He was safely handed over to BSF today at 5.10 pm during a commandant level flag meeting with Pakistan Rangers. This is the second such incident in Abohar sector in recent times. On December 1, during zero line checking at the International Border (IB), a jawan had crossed over to the other side. Pakistan Rangers handed him back to BSF the same day after a flag meeting.
