MS Dhoni Injury: Dhoni, who is suffering from injury in IPL, can undergo surgery-reports

IPL 2023: In IPL 2023, it is being said about MS Dhoni, who is suffering from knee problem, that he can undergo surgery. Although there is no official information regarding this. But it is being said in the reports that he will have to undergo surgery to be fully fit.


CSK captain MS Dhoni, who won the 5th trophy after defeating Gujarat, made it clear after the final match that he can play for Chennai in the next season as well. However, he had said that he wanted to do this after seeing the love of the fans. Earlier it was expected that this would be his last season.

Dhoni was not fit in IPL 2023

But now the news that is coming out about Dhoni can disturb his fans. In fact, according to the Times of India report, it is being said that he can undergo surgery for his knee injury. However, no decision has been taken regarding this till now. That being said, surgery is the only option to make him fully fit. If he decides to undergo surgery, the rehabilitation could take a long time and thus his availability in IPL 2024 could be in jeopardy.


Dhoni's performance in IPL 2023


MS Dhoni may have played a few balls in IPL 2023, but he won everyone's heart with his batting. Fans will not be able to forget Mark Wood's two sixes off two balls against Lucknow Super Giants. He has scored 104 runs this season at a strike rate of 182.45, out of which 60 runs have been scored with sixes and 12 runs with fours.

He said Dhoni will consult the doctors on his left knee injury and take a decision accordingly. If surgery is advised, it will be known only after the report comes, it will be completely his choice.
